How do you outsmart, lure and trap a smart holed up mouse?

sounds like the 007 of the mouse kingdom.OK,look for a trap that is just a square box and has a flap type door on one end once in he cant get out .chocolate is best but it may be wise to it or peanut er,try bird seed i know they like sunflower seeds.i had to put mine in plastic containers to keep them out of it.also if you have a trap give it a good washing before you reload it smell is one of the things the buggers relate to danger
