Natural repellent for deer, armadillos, etc. in organic garden?

A natural repellent for deer would be human hair in an old sock hung around the garden. You can get some at a Barber Shop. For armadillos the shotgun is the best. I used ground hot pepper once year but he learned to like that. A car ran over it and that solved the problem.
