I need a females opinion/perspective.?

I'm an atheist female and personally, I'd give it a shot. I have friends who are in relationships where their beliefs are vastly different and they have been married for years now and, to make matters a little more complicated, they have children. These different beliefs do not get in the way of their relationship due to their mutual respect. When it comes to raising the children, they each explain the various views one can have (they are both very knowledgeable about a multitude of different religions) and when the child is old enough, the child will chose his or her own path to take be the path one of religion or not. It all comes down to respect and compatibility in other areas. They have different religious views, yes, but in other areas they are very much in unison. So, give it a shot.
