When did the 80s Edmonton Oilers dynasty REALLY begin becoming a dynasty?

Rocket, I think that you put too much stock into a regular season game. For instance, this year Montreal went 8-0 against Boston but it still took 7 games to put them away. As far as I'm concerned, the dynasty always starts with your first cup win and it recognized as a dynasty with your 3rd in 5 years. Otherwise it's all conjectural.
